Anna W. Mok

During her 30+ year career at Deloitte, Anna Mok has held various leadership roles serving some of its largest and most respected clients in industries including technology, payments, financial services, consumer and healthcare and life sciences. She currently has Technology, Private Equity, Asia Pacific and U.S.-China leadership responsibilities and also serves as a Global Lead Client Service Partner. Her global business experiences include strategy, digital and technology transformations, corporate governance, cyber and strategic risk management, finance and accounting, mergers and acquisitions, and market and growth services. Anna was the first female of Chinese American descent to be admitted to the partnership at Deloitte & Touche LLP. Known as a collaborator and connector, Anna has a deep passion for creating economic and educational access and strives for diversity, equity and inclusion in the workplace and society. She inspires her teams and organizations to make positive sustained societal impacts and has helped develop and advance emerging leaders, women, and minorities into senior executive and corporate board director roles. As a changemaker, Anna has led governance transformation efforts as the board chairperson for numerous organizations. Boards she currently serves on include Ascend, The Conference Board, Commonwealth Club of California, and The Thirty Percent Coalition. Anna also serves on the advisory councils of The Coca-Cola Company, L’Oréal North America, MetLife, AICPA and other organizations. Anna is a recipient of the 2023 NACD Directorship Award.

Jeff is a founder and the inaugural president of Ascend, the premier non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing the presence, influence and visibility of current and future Pan-Asian business leaders. Founded in 2005, Ascend has rapidly grown to become the largest, non-profit Pan-Asian membership organization for business professionals in North America. Jeff is also a retired partner of EY having served nearly 30 years with the firm. He founded EY’s Asian American affinity network, EY/ASIA. Jeff holds a B.Sc. degree from Pennsylvania State University and an MBA from St. John’s University.

Jenny is a managing director and internal audit services leader at Huron Consulting. She has more than 25 years of diversified consulting experience in advising global financial institutions on a wide range of internal audit and regulatory matters, including enterprise risk management, governance, regulatory compliance, corporate compliance, BSA/AML & OFAC compliance, operations, independent regulatory remediation validation, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and J-SOX compliance. Jenny assisted clients transform internal audit functions on people, process, purpose and technology to create long term value and build trust with the stakeholders. Her collaborative style, relationship-building skills, and complex problem-solving capabilities have led to the implementation of sustainable solutions to address regulatory issues and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
Hussain T. Hasan

Hussain Hasan is currently the Digital Leader for Office of Risk Management and the Leader for Consulting Risk at RSM US. He specializes in digital transformation, enterprise risk management (ERM), strategic planning and cyber security and board governance. Hussain has over 30 years of experience in various capacities and industries. He served on RSM Board of Directors and in that capacity was on various committees including the Governance Committee, Risk Oversight Committee, Partner Matters Committee and Acquisitions Committee. He is a NACD Board Certified and has numerous Cyber Security certifications.
Michael Ku
Head of Global Clinical Supply, Pfizer
Dr. Michael Ku is Vice President of Global Clinical Supply (GCS) within Pfizer’s Research and Development organization. Michael has over 30 years of biopharmaceutical experience and currently provides strategic leadership for clinical supply chain functions in support of Pfizer’s clinical trials in over 70 countries. His intellectual curiosity and focus on technology and innovation drive his passion in leading the global clinical supply chain to deliver breakthrough medicines and vaccines that change patients’ lives. Prior to joining Pfizer, Michael was the Global Head and Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Research Services (CPRS) at Genzyme Corporation. He also held several roles of increasing responsibility at Astra Pharmaceuticals (currently AstraZeneca) and Novopharm Limited (currently Teva Canada Limited) in the areas of Clinical Research, Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory Affairs and Quality Assurance. Motivated by helping other Pfizer colleagues thrive, Michael serves as the Executive Leader of the Pfizer Global Asian Alliance Enterprise Colleague Resource Group (GAA ECRG). Michael received the 2022 Ascend A-List Award and was a recipient of the 2018 Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award.
Alexander Peh

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, educated in Melbourne, Australia and with experience in Africa, South-East Asia, Europe and North America, Alex currently serves as the Vice President, Head of Merchant Payment Services at The Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), based in Toronto, Canada. His mandate focuses on execute oversight of RBC’s strategic partnership with Moneris, and their growing Merchant Services Business. He joined RBC 7 years ago to lead their Tech + Ops Innovation Group. Prior to joining RBC, he had roles leading Market Development & Mobile for PayPal/Braintree Canada and Channel/Mobile Partnership’s for PayPal in UK/EMEA.
